🎾 VIETPADEL LADDER RACE – GENERAL RULES
The ladder is organized in a box system with 5 teams per group or 5 players per group for single (this number may change depending on subscription).
Each team plays one or more match against every other team in their group during the cycle.
Matches are played in:
Best of 3 sets
3rd set = Super Tie-Break (first to 10 points, win by 2)
Every game uses the Star Point (2 deuces):
At 3rd deuce, the receiving team chooses the receiving side
The next point decides the game
Two formats are available:
Singles Ladder
Doubles Ladder
Teams or individuals are placed into groups based on level (initial seeding or evaluation).
Each group contains 5 double teams or 5 single players.
Each ladder cycle lasts 2 weeks.
During this period, organise as many matches as possible.
At the end of each 2-week cycle:
🟢 Top 2 teams → move UP to the higher group
🔴 Bottom 2 teams → move DOWN to the lower group
🟡 3rd place team → stays in the same group
This system ensures:

Scoring & Points System
Match Points Allocation
For each match:
🟢 Win (2–0 or 2–1) → 3 points
🔴 Loss (1–2) → 1 point
🔴 Loss (0–2) → 0 points
👉 This rewards teams that win, while still giving credit for close matches.
Example
Team A wins 2 matches (2–0, 2–1) and loses 1 match (1–2) → 3 + 3 + 1 = 7 points
Team B wins 2 matches (both 2–0) and loses 1 match (0–2) → 3 + 3 + 0 = 6 points
👉 Team A ranks higher due to earning a point in a close loss.
